Reps. Roy and Tiffany Press for Answers on China-Linked Birth Tourism
March 9, 2026

"American citizenship is a sacred trust — not a loophole to be exploited," said Rep. Roy. "When foreign adversaries like the Chinese Communist Party can leverage birth tourism and visa-less programs to gain influence within our borders, we must restore integrity to our immigration system and defend the sovereignty of our Republic."

“While some may claim these lax immigration programs are vital to the CNMI’s economy, they do not prioritize the national security interests of the American people, as these programs have served as pipelines to American citizenship for illegal aliens seeking economic opportunity and those who are bad actors. We respectfully urge you to end any parole, VWP, or any visa-less programs extended to Chinese citizens and to please provide an accounting of the extent to which birth tourism has been exploited by the PRC.”

Fedorchak votes for increased border security, crack down on illegal entry
Sept. 11, 2025

“North Dakotans know that a nation without secure borders is a nation at risk. For too long, President Biden encouraged chaos at our southern border. His administration’s refusal to act led to a record number of illegal immigrants, including human traffickers and terrorists, entering our country,” Fedorchak said. “Thankfully, President Trump has restored order at the border by enforcing the laws already on the books. Today’s action builds on this success by strengthening existing law, helping make sure illegal migrants think twice before breaking America’s laws.”

Congresswoman Julie Fedorchak visits southern border with House Republican colleagues
March 11, 2025

“Thank you to Congressman Ciscomani for hosting me to his district in Arizona and for his leadership on border security. Learning more about the many layers of our nation’s border crisis and the far-reaching consequences of President Biden’s refusal to lead on this issue was eye-opening,” Fedorchak said. “For the last four years, our law enforcement officers were overwhelmed with processing illegal crossings instead of securing the border. Now, with President Trump enforcing existing law, they’re back to being able to do their jobs. I’m committed to working with the Trump administration and my colleagues in Congress to make sure our border agents have the tools and resources they need to keep our country safe.”
